  • CanalSide will be hosting a contactless Pet Costume Contest!!! All you have to do is send us a picture of your pet in they're spookiest costume to canalsidemgr@mynicheapartments.com no later than 10/29. Winners will be announced 10/30 on the Rent Cafe Resident Portal 1 PM. Contest Rules Pets ONLY (All pets accepted ) Have fun and take some pictures! Be sure to send in your pictures to the our email before 10/29. We will post the pictures on the resident portal for your neighbors to vote. (comment on portal or you can email us your vote privately).The winners picture will be posted on Canalside's Facebook and Instagram pages.   • Happy FriYaY!!! The leasing office will be closed on Monday September 7th in observation of Labor Day and will resume business per usual on Tuesday September 8th.   • As a reminder Spartan Valet Trash service has began as of August 3rd. Please place your trash bins outside your door after 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday. The bins are to be placed back inside your apartment by 7 am each day to avoid additional charges . After August 24th your account may be charged for violations , please review the letter attached and a copy was placed in your door last month. If you rather not use the service please return your bin to the front office or send us an email to pick it up outside your door.If you have any questions please contact the office.   • Happy Thursday!!! The leasing office will be closed Friday 7/3/2020 in observation of Independence Day. You can call 877-702-7386 for emergency maintenance issues and submit all non emergency work orders through the resident portal. All rent payments not paid by 7/5/2020 will have a late fee added 7/6/2020. If your having issues with your payment please email us at canalsidemgr@mynicheapartments.com. Please be safe and remember to lock your car doors at all times. If you are leaving town please notify the office if your car will be left here so we can keep an eye out for you.   • Happy Friday Canalside Family ! Beginning Monday June 22nd maintenance will be changing filters on the 1st and 2nd floors. Tuesday June 23rd the 3rd and 4th floors will be completed as well. While we continue to play it safe please notify the office if you are under the weather, not feeling well or been exposed to Covid 19. If you would prefer to change them out yourself just send us an email and we will leave the filter at your door. Also if you received an email about Pet Screening disregard the message unless it's time for you to renew. At this time only new residents and renewal residents are required to complete the screening before finalizing your new lease agreement.   • Updated Food Truck Schedule*** Some of our Vendors have been over booked so unfortunately they weren't able to show up and canceled last minute. Due to late notice I wasn't able to book anyone else but the good news is Augusta is full of Food Trucks with good food! I will post on an weekly basis from here on out with updates. Thanks guy for being the best and remember #staysafe #washyourhands Luna's Pizza will be here May 18th from 11am- 2pm. Once I book someone for this upcoming week I will send out an email to everyone.   • On Tuesday April 21st Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard Food Truck will be in the visitors parking lot from 11 am - 3 pm!  Enjoy some Italian Ice made with real fruit , a cool, creamy Custard or put them together and check out the Gelati.  You can check them out on Facebook and unlock some good deals! Let’s all work together to keep our community healthy! When submitting a service request, please be mindful and considerate of your maintenance team. If you are feeling under the weather, please hold off on your request until you are feeling better. We are dedicated to taking care of each and every neighbor’s service request, but they will be subject to a quick review. After your service request has been received, a member of our team will call or email you with the following questions. Pending your response, the request will be addressed as quickly as possible. Q1: Have you tested positive for COVID-19? Q2: Have you traveled to any countries within the last 45 days for which the CDC has issued a pandemic-related Level 3 Travel Health Notice? Q3: Have you come into contact with any individual that has tested positive for COVID-19? Q4: Do you currently have a fever of 100°F or more? If you answer “yes” to any of the above questions, the team will be unable to complete your request unless it is an emergency. The requests below are considered emergency service requests and will be handled as quickly as possible: ? A/C not cooling and outside temperature is over 72 degrees ? Heater not heating and outside temperature is below 68 degrees ? Toilet overflowing ? Toilet not flushing – for apartments with only one toilet ? Bathtub not draining – for apartments with only one bathtub ? No hot water ? Garbage disposal not working – if water is backing up in sink ? Refrigerator not working ? Stove not working ? Broken window ? Broken door ? Water leaks ? Electrical power out We greatly appreciate your help and understanding.   • Dear Residents: Please be reminded that we no longer require Renters Insurance of any kind. As a convenience to you, we are instead buying insurance for the entire community. As a result, we will be adding a Risk Management Fee of $10/month billed in addition to your rent. This fee is used to protect the community from any damage to your apartment or the overall property. This monthly fee will automatically begin at your next lease renewal. Therefore, you are not required to renew your current Renters Insurance policy. If you would prefer to cancel your existing Renters Insurance/Liability policy prior to your lease renewal, please let us know and we can add this convenient coverage option for you immediately. Additionally, if you would like protection for your personal belongings, we will be happy to send you information on PropertyProtect, which will offer you exclusive resident-only discounted rates on contents-only coverage. Of course, you may still obtain renters insurance for your personal belongings from a licensed insurance agent. We expect this new coverage to save you time and money!
